Enfusion/8TKO is delighted to announce: a documentary covering World of Combat Sports — an exciting sport-meets-reality format that makes for not-to-be-missed episodes of content.

Guided by a legendary coaching line-up, two teams embark on a journey through training, fighting and challenges. Living together adds a testosterone-fuelled factor at Superpro Samui in Koh Samui, Thailand.

Presented by Edwin van Os — a vastly experienced individual, backed by over thirty years of knowledge — who scouts for the future stars of Enfusion’s ever-growing umbrella of brands. From Kickboxing and Muay Thai to MMA and Xtreme Stand Up, the action never stops!

THE FORMAT
Enfusion/8TKO: World of Combat Sports sees fighters compete across three disciplines, with coaches looking to build the strongest team to win on all fronts.
MMA
Fighters with no more than three professional fights collide in a tournament to test their skills — building a star in the early stages of their MMA career.
MUAY THAI
A look into the traditional national sport and cultural martial art of Thailand — also known as the art of eight limbs.
KICKBOXING
Four competitors face off in a tournament format in the -70kg division, with the winner securing a shot at the Enfusion World Title.

JULIE KITCHEN
Fourteen-time world champion Julie Kitchen led the way for Muay Thai development across the globe with a decade-long career. After hanging up her gloves she moved into promoting within the Enfusion brand of the UAE, plus ambassadorial and commentary roles. Julie hosts the analysis around all Enfusion events and is an experienced coach.
ASSISTANT CAPTAINS
CALEY RE8TKO
Caley Reece has trained Muay Thai for over 15 years — a highly decorated former No. 1 in the world, holding a variety of world Champion belts in the featherweight and lightweight divisions. A current cross-fit coach, she brings knowledge and strength to the red team.
SOUMIA ABALHAJA
A former strawweight World Champion in her early career, Soumia also has accomplishments in her singing career — participating in The Voice of Holland — as well as roles in TV series and the Thai movie Ong Bak. Soumia is the MC of Enfusion. Another female with the drive to succeed.

ASCHWIN BALRAK
Former Enfusion Reality season 5 winner Aschwin Balrak has a wealth of experience and knowledge to pass to teammates, with over 25 years in the sport. He runs his own sports school and has a victorious career on the biggest shows such as It’s Showtime and K-1.
ASSISTANT CAPTAINS
JOOP UBEDA
Joop Ubeda is known as one of the best referees in the world — tough and strict, so fighters know they are safe. With a wealth of knowledge from his career and running his own gym, he is a true inspiration for the blue team. Joop is the father of fight-sport legend Perry Ubeda, a World Champion in many fight sports.
DANIEL SAM
A former winner of Enfusion Reality 4, where Daniel was crowned Heavyweight Champion, he was later invited back as a team captain during the Enfusion reality ladies edition. Daniel has a very impressive appearance and holds a lot of experience as a fighter and teacher.
