Scoring Criteria

  • At least 3 or 5 judges shall evaluate athletes according to the following priorities:
  • Knockdowns – a knockdown determines the round in favor of the athlete who scored it (unless point deductions are applied).
  • Damage to the opponent – significant damage (e.g., wobbling, clear loss of function after a legal strike) carries heavy weight. Damage is assessed cumulatively.
  • Number of clean strikes – effective, legal strikes are counted. Spectacular techniques (such as flying or spinning strikes) weigh more heavily than standard techniques.
  • Aggressiveness and ring dominance – active offense is valued more than defense.
  • One athlete must always receive 10 points. Deductions are subtracted after scoring.
  • 10-9: One athlete has a clear advantage according to the criteria.
  • 10-8: Dominance with a knockdown or heavy damage combined with aggression.
  • 10-7: Two knockdowns, or one knockdown plus a point deduction.
  • Three knockdowns in one round, or four in the entire fight = fight ends.
